On the weekend of September 8-10, Women's Ministries leaders from all over Austria met in a beautiful location near Lake Altaussee and spent a special time together around the theme of "Foundation Stones". This title intended to remind them that the first foundation stone for everything we do must be prayer.
In a program full of spiritual moments, biblical themes, practical activities, moments of sharing and encounter, and a walk in nature, the women had the opportunity to share ideas and experience prayer in different forms.
The biblical examples of women who prayed and the women's own experiences based on their answered prayers helped to build an altar of remembrance with these foundation stones and to say, like the people of Israel, "Thus far the Lord has helped" (1 Sam. 7:12).
Having laid the foundation for prayer and built the altar of gratitude for God's help, the women set out on their present and future mission that God has entrusted to each of us: "You are ... and on this rock I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18).
The call at the end of the weekend was to strengthen personal prayer life, support members and newcomers, and become a rock on which God can build His church.
