From September 19 to 21, 2025, ten women from all over Germany gathered for the first Resilience Weekend for Women in Freudenstadt at Haus Schwarzwaldsonne, led by lecturer Dany Canedo (persolog trainer).
On Friday evening, we began in a pleasant and harmonious setting with a basic explanation of what resilience actually is and why it is so helpful and important. Following the introduction, ‘Jesus and Resilience,’ and a questionnaire that provided an in-depth analysis of our personal resilience factors, the results were clearly presented in diagrams, making it easy to identify our own areas for development. Dany offered empathetic, sensitive, practical, and easily implementable solutions that are helpful in both professional and private everyday life.
The open and serious discussions within the group were particularly valuable. The exchange in this protected setting made the weekend very intense and informative.
Another highlight was the balanced, healthy, and delicious food that was lovingly prepared for us during our stay.
To round things off and promote physical well-being, an intense and informative day concluded for some with a visit to the sauna, which was available exclusively for our use, while others enjoyed games and fun.
Overall, the weekend was an enriching and valuable experience. The group work and feedback sessions were important for our own reflection and personal enrichment. We not only gained new insights into our own resilience, but also received concrete tools for greater inner strength in everyday life.
