On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, November 25 and 26, 2022, the Adventist Church of Bacau Șerbănești in the Moldova Conference used the material prepared by the General Conference Women’s Ministries Department to address the topic of violence. The presenters were Sister Viorica Avrămiea (Friday evening meeting and Sabbath morning sermon) and Sister Iuliana Onțanu, specialist inspector at the Bacău Child Protection Department (Sabbath afternoon seminar). One of the moments of impact was during the children's story when Sister Viorica showed the children a sharp cutter and a blunt knife and asked what they are used for. She then asked if they are good or bad objects. The answer came from a 9-year-old boy named Cristian who was also responsible for the technical part of the meeting. He, without any suggestion from the presenter, promptly replied: "It depends on how we use them!" The second moment of impact came after the close of the divine service, when a young married woman approached the presenter, looked her deep in the eye and said, "Thank you for the message!" Thank God for such ministry opportunities where Adventists reaffirm that they are against any form of abuse.

Several churches in the Banat Conference also addressed the problem of violence in their services on November 26. Cuvin, Bethel Arad, Caransebeș, Archiș, Oradea A, Oradea B, Timișoara Maranatha (and many others) used the material sent by the General Conference for this occasion. The international day for the elimination of violence against women is an opportunity used by God to contrast the harsh reality of the human condition in the world of sin with the Kingdom of love that Jesus is preparing for us.
