From November 8 to 10 the annual national convention of the Women's Ministries Department at the Multiple Activities Center (CAS) of Entrepeñas attracted 160 people under the theme “Cared for by Him”.
This year Dagmar Dorn, Women’s Ministries (WM) director of our Division, was present. In her presentations, she exalted Jesus through female biblical characters and touched the hearts and minds of those present. The five workshops that were offered focused on the importance of physical, emotional, social, and spiritual care, awakened the interest of the participants and were a blessing.
A creative touch was provided by the workshop presented by the CampusArt Art Academy (from the Sagunto Adventist Campus). Finally, a group of Portuguese-speaking sisters from Sagunto led the worship.
Special Offering for DANA, and Thanksgiving.
The grief and sadness for the catastrophe caused by the consequences of the DANA was evident in our convention “Cared for by Him”, and crystallized in a generous offering that was entirely destined for humanitarian aid, channeled through ADRA Spain.
The Women's Ministries team is deeply grateful to the Lord, the CAM administration, and staff for their love and care during the convention. Also, to the women who volunteered to provide the training. And, of course, to all the people who attended this very special weekend of intense communion with the Lord, in an atmosphere of cordiality and dialogue. Without a doubt, we live “Cared for by Him”.
According to a report by Mercedes Martínez Bou, Women's Ministries director for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Spain.
