Camp Meeting for Single Women in Romania

From September 22-28, 2017, 35 single women attended the fifth annual camp meeting organized at Moeciu, Brasov county by Viorica Avramiea for Women’s Ministries. The topic of the Camp Meeting was "Life's losses and their hidden gain". The women enjoyed the beauty of nature as well as the daily morning devotionals by Emilia Avramiea who has suffered personal losses and was thus able to speak out of her own experience. Her topic was taken from the experience of Job: the loss of material wealth, children, health, partner and friends – the loss of life and hope. At each point she pointed to what he gained - twice the material riches, 10 more children, recovery of the relationship with his partner and more than all, a better understanding of the Great Giver of Life.
The women also greatly benefited for three days by the presentations and experiences of Adventist psychologist and family counselor Stela Manda who addressed life's losses from a professional point of view.
Best of all, the group included 11 non-Adventist women who came with their friends or as a result of publicity on Hope Radio. They were very happy for this opportunity and they opened their hearts, faithfully attending the devotional programs and even taking part in reading the Scripture, praying and singing. The women enjoyed a wonderful fellowship together, fine morning gymnastics and wonderful nature walks.
