"Crossroads of Hope" was the motto of the National Women’s Forum, held in Asenovgrad, Bulgaria, and some 140 men and women, including many non-Adventists took part in it. The event was organized by Women's Ministries Department and took place from March 10 to 12 this year, reports Jana Bumbalova, country’s departmental director. A team of 10 ladies had prepared this women's event for half a year. It was accompanied by numerous surprises for all attendants. "What pleased me most was the fact that many lay volunteers got involved in the preparation," explained Bumbalova. She pointed out that we all live in hope of a better world, not only of the heavenly world but also of the earthly one. The event itself was mission-oriented, specified the departmental leader. Keynote speaker of the forum was Women's Ministries Associate Director at the General Conference Raquel Arrais, who was accompanied by the Director of Women's Ministries at the Inter-European Division Denise Hochstrasser
