The Women’s Ministries sewing group of a local church in northern Germany was involved in the organization of a summer arts and crafts market in July. The group produces heart-shaped pillows for breast cancer patients. Other groups like the Pathfinders were also involved, who showed how to make various origami animals. There was also a booth selling fossils. Around 100 visitors were attracted to the market in spite of uncertain weather conditions. “For a first event it was really successful. We are happy as we had lots of positive feedback from the visitors,” said Stefanie Hansen, the leader of the group.
